Boutique

BoutiqueBoutique is a good movie in its genre. It tries to depict a situation in which no one can be held responsible for the misery of the other. A situation not caused by people themselves but predestined for them before their birth. The daughter of a cemetery worker (Etti) in the southern part of Tenran, with a happy, fun loving spirit has fled home. She could not bear the daily cries she hears at the cemetery anymore. She hated the poverty and misery she has been going through. She comes across Jahan. Jahan(Golzar) does not seem a person from our planet :earth. He helps the girl however he can financially, mentally ,.. for sake of no actual compensation. Just to help her as a helpless girl. But there is an end to this help. When he finds our that she is lying and she has no place to sleep at night, then he decides may be it is time for her to go back to the her home, to the place she hates. What else can he do? How can u find a shelter for a lonely 17 years old, drop-out-school girl in a metropolitan like Tehran? A city where a single girl, alone has the obvious meaning of "availability" for...! That is when the story picks up to its dramatic turn. A turn that drowns Etti, Jahan and ... and finishes with the elevator taking Jahan to the end, to the worst of the worst.
